Delete your Attender account

• Open Attender and sign in.
• Go to Profile, then Delete account.
• Enter your password, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.

• Sign in at the Attender website.
• Lecturers: scroll to Delete account at the bottom of your Profile page. Students: open Profile, then Delete account.
• Enter your password, type DELETE to confirm, and select Delete my account.

First try resetting your password. If that is not possible, email hello@karmat-hq.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm it is really you before deleting anything, and complete the request within 30 days.

• Your name, email address, matric number, department and profile picture link.
• Your password and every signed in session, on every device.
• Your face profile, if you had one.
• Your push notification registrations and your notifications.
• Your membership of every course.

Attendance your school already recorded, including the time and location of each check in, is part of the school’s academic record. It is kept for as long as your school requires, but it no longer carries your name or email address. Copies in our database host’s backups expire on the host’s own retention schedule.

A school administrator can also disable your account, which stops it working but does not delete it. To have your data deleted, use the steps above.
